THE CROCODILE

The crocodile that I researched lives in the Amazon Rainforest. It can grow to be 30 feet long. Its tail is about as long as its body, so watch out when you are walking in the Amazon. Its color is greenish brown, and black in some places on the body. Its legs are short but it can run fast. When you are running from a crocodile run straight don't run side to side because its eyes are on the side of its head it can not see you when you are running straight. The crocodile has a long snout and sharp teeth so is can kill its prey. The crocodile has sharp claws so it can keep hold of its prey. It can weight 250-300 pounds. It lays eggs not live babies like humans. The crocodiles scales are dull not sharp like there claws.

The crocodile eats small animals like fish, spider monkeys, tapers and much more. The anaconda eats the crocodile. How the anaconda eats the crocodile it squeezes, the crocodile and swallows it whole It crushes its bones and spits the bones back out and eats the skin. Humans also eat the crocodile. The humans kill the crocodile and eat some of it for them. Then sell it at a market to make money for there houses, food, and farms. The crocodile skin is used for blankets and beds.
