The soursop can be found in the tropical rainforest of South America. These plants grow to be about 12 feet tall and its fruit grow to be the size of a football. The soursop is a purplish gray color and its fruits have poisonous seeds on the outside that is reddish and hard. The poisonous fruits can kill a small animal if it tries to eat it to get to the inside but for bigger animals it will just make it sick. If you crack the inside open you will find soft, white inside of the soursop. This can be eaten fresh or frozen to make ice cream. If you take this pulp and chill it at so and so degrees it will become ice cream.
This plant is starting to become rare because of the destruction of the rainforest. You were able to find these everywhere in the rainforest but now they are getting wiped out of the rainforests. The animals spread the seeds around so the plants can grow and will not be extinct. Even after this the plants don't grow at the rate of the destruction. Animals eating the seeds and dying or wasting it behide spread this plant's seeds. Then they would spread or stay in that area.
